service representatives are actually competent and knowledgeable in their
field. This way, if you ever have a
problem (at any time of day or night) you can call DirecTV’s round the clock customer
support hotline and speak to someone who actually knows what they are talking
about. How’s that for a breath of fresh
air?
DirecTV also offers a great parental control feature. Many young parents of today have considerable
anxiety about their children accidentally stumbling upon a program with
inappropriate content when the parent is not around. Now that the television “air waves” are
riddled with gratuitous sexual and violent material, it is hard to say what
time it will pop up on certain channels or in what programs. However, it is usually pretty easy to tell
what channels have the content and whether it may be during the day or just
late at night. DirecTV played off of
this when developing their parental control feature. With DirecTV’s parental controls you can lock
out entire channels or set them to be locked for only certain parts of the
day. The parental controls are also
protected with a password system so that your child will not be able to change
your settings when you are not around.
In general , you will do better with DirecTV than with anyone else.
