Will it be third time lucky for the advanced live video chat site?

LiveCamNetwork.com Nominated For Best Webcam SiteLive video chat site LiveCamNetwork.com has been nominated for Best Webcam Site at the third edition of the Best Adult Awards.

This is the third year the site is up for an award in its six year history, last year being an XBiz nomination for best video feeds, and the first time being best amateur site a year before that.

"The Amateur nomination was really a reflection of our chat hostesses," said site founder and 2much.net president Mark Princ. "And that is still the case for the latest nominations."

Prince means the chat hostesses, or webcam girls, hired by LiveCamNetwork.com are generally trained and provide highly interactive and entertaining chat sessions for the end-users, whether in free or paid chat.

"They use the tools at their disposal," said Prince. "The most powerful video and full audio feature allows them to use everything nature and personality gave them to make the chat experience as intense and real as posible for the customer."

LiveCamNetwork.com has an edge over the other nominees this year, according to Prince.

"I call it LCN Hi Def," he said. "Live high definition video streaming in widescreen format over the web."

In claiming his is the first such video on the net, Prince is correct, as a little research proves.

"With the exception of one billion-dollar scientific experiment between two countries, LiveCamNetwork was and is still the first and only publically accessible, commercially viable live high definition video stream in use."

LiveCamNetwork Affiliate Manager Stephanie "Mediachick" Soucy agrees, with reservation.

"I mean the technology would mean nothing if it was used to watch paint dry," said Soucy. "The LCN Girls, the performers make the video what it is, and they deserve half the credit for using this relatively new medium and making this site worthy of the award."

The Best Adult Awards are held during the Qwebec Expo, now in its third year, and honours the best adult websites based on submissions from the adult business community and a panel of judges made up of the spectrum of industry representatives, from affiliates to company owners to designers.
